Lara Kunowski, FNP-C
Lara was born and raised in Arkansas and received her Bachelors of Nursing degree from Arkansas State University. After graduating, she began her professional career as a nurse in the Neurovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Medical City Dallas Hospital caring for the critically ill.
Always seeking to expand her horizons, she began traveling to different hospitals around the country such as New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York Cornell Weill Hospital, and University of Wisconsin to assist the local staff in the Intensive Care Units.
Working side-by-side with talented doctors and practitioners inspired her to pursue an advanced degree herself. While simultaneously working directly with a plastic surgeon and a dermatologist at an ambulatory surgery clinic, Lara attended the Chamberlain College of Nursing and graduated in 2017 with a Masters of Nursing degree specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Shortly after completing her board certification, Lara headed back to Texas to plant her roots and pursue the cutting-edge field of stem cell therapy.
Beyond specializing in the critical care area, she has experience in ambulatory surgery, post-anesthesia care, plastic surgery, dermatology, laser and aesthetics, and weight management.
In her free time, Lara enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and especially her two poodles.
